Olivewaves Limited is an indigenous service provider in the marine sector while trading in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. It was incorporated as a limited liability company in Nigeria in 2020 to carry on the business of marketing, supply, and trading of petroleum products, marine logistics, support, and project management. Led by a dynamic management team, Olivewaves Limited has been strategically positioned to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage and achieve its vision. This is further enabled by the proper deployment of good corporate governance and risk management practices.

Our Core

This business unit is responsible for the supply and trading of petroleum products under the specifications of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. Products traded include, Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO also known as Diesel), Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG also known as Natural Cooking Gas), Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK), Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO).

HSE

Our general HSE policies involve the following:
1. Providing a work environment that limits occupational and executive stress, and promotes the control of health and safety risks arising within the work environment.
2. Providing and maintaining safe and continually monitored work
environments, transportation and tools. Ensuring safe handling and use of potentially harmful substances.
Providing information, instruction, supervision and training—competence for all employees.
3. Constant and consistent reviews of HSE policies and procedures. Immediate and proximate availability of safety equipment, personnel and training. Employees have also been vested with legal and contractual responsibilities to take ownership of the health and safety of themselves and others, and to co-operate with management to help them in compliance with our policies.

People

At our “CORE” is people. We have thus developed a people strategy that would guide us in our work and processes. Our aim is that the core of our business should not be traded off for business gains. People’s health, motivation and training have a profound impact on productivity and efficiency in every business. We first communicate the importance of People, and the role that each echelon of the entire organization will play in complying with our people strategy. Key in our people strategy is training. People are trained for and beyond their responsibilities, with continuous monitoring through appraisals of key performance indicators. Remuneration and a balanced work time are also important factors in this strategy, amongst many others. Managers roles in the strategy is to recognize the impact of people management on service delivery, and to manage to improve same. HR units ensure the understanding and buy-in of the strategy by players, and are kept abreast of any developments that may affect the strategy or its results, positively or negatively. Employees also ensure compliance and provide feedback on strategy.
